21/01/2008
UK law firm Atkinson Ferbrache Richardson has announced the recent appointment of two new senior corporate lawyers.
The Guernsey-based national firm has hired former lecturer and commercial solicitor Michael Sproule and former Wedlake Bell partner Michael McKean to boost its private client and corporate practices.
Commenting on the new recruits, Peter Atkinson, senior partner of Atkinson Ferbrache Richardson, said: "We welcome both Michael Sproule and Michael McKean into our firm. They both bring with them a wealth of experience. Michael Sproule has practiced extensively in corporate, commercial and trust law, investment funds and legislation, as well as commercial and residential conveyancing and dispute resolution.
"Michael McKean, with his many years' experience and understanding of the finer points of trust law, is an asset to both our commercial and corporate section, and to our trust company, AFR Trustees (Guernsey) Limited."
Since its launch in April 2007, the fledgling firm has built a ten-strong legal team and full supportive staff.
